Azul Board Game

The Azul Board Game is a strategic tile-placement game where 2-4 players compete to create beautiful mosaic patterns on their personal boards. Players take turns drafting coloured tiles from central market displays, but with a crucial twist—when you select a colour, you must take all tiles of that colour from the chosen display. The challenge lies in strategically arranging these tiles on your pattern lines to eventually transfer them to your decorative wall for scoring points. The game rewards careful planning and pattern recognition whilst punishing waste, as excess tiles that don’t fit your chosen row will “fall to the floor” and cost you valuable points.
